This series of 30 x 30cm canvases aims to convey the feelings and emotions that are conjured by memories of encounters wild and gentle in the Lover's Lanes of my past!

In particular there was a Lover's Lane on Shirley Hills near Croydon, a gloomy, rather dismal place in winter but often suffused with the golden light of love, or was it the headlights of a passing car?
