I have recently had trouble with cataracts in my eyes and have had one lense replaced. The change in colour perception was astounding. As we get older our eyes see less colour, everything greys out slightly. The new lense returned one eye to full technicolour!

When we look at a green field. for instance, we often miss the myriad colours that it contains.
